Provision of Echo devices
In order for guests and staff to interact with Alexa, it is necessary to equip themselves with of the Echo speakers manufactured by Amazon.
NAVOO is a company authorized by Amazon to be able to purchase and resell Echo devices even in large quantities.
It is still possible to purchase Echo devices on your own. Those that can be used for Alexa Smart Properties are in fact the same as those sold on Amazon’s website or in electronics stores.
For facilities such as apartments, vacation homes, and B&Bs, it is therefore recommended to purchase the devices from Amazon’s site.
Installation of Echo devices
Activating and installing an Echo device is very simple.
The first activity to be done is to “associate it with a room,” to enable the Echo to handle guest requests. This is done by using the NAVOO Control Panel and it only takes a few clicks.
In structure, the device should then be placed on a table, desk or shelf, and connected to electricity. Simple!
If requested, NAVOO can send an estimate to take care of in-room purchasing and installation activities.
What about the digital guide?
NAVOO support is not required in order to create and provide guests with the Digital Guide.
The Control Panel is full of instructions for all steps-from creating the property, through entering information and activating services, to creating links to send to guests and QR codes to print and place in the facility.
Graphic and textual content creation
Using the Control Panel, you can enter all the information and images that will be used by Alexa and the Digital Guide to give answers to guests.
Taking advantage of generative artificial intelligence, the Control Panel will help you create new texts (and translate them) with just a few clicks.
Thousands of images are already available and ready to use, and you can upload photos made by you to increase personalization and quality.
If necessary, we can send you a dedicated quote to entrust us with the task of creating and entering all the information in the Control Panel. You or your staff will only need to provide initial directions; we’ll take care of the rest!
Training
Using the Control Panel is very simple.
If needed, we could still provide a few hours of training for facility staff to enter the information and manage all the features offered by the system.
