Alexa Smart Properties and the Digital Guide collect real-time data on guests’ usage, with very precise levels of detail.

Take “breakfast” as an example. The Control Panel will show not only how many guests have asked Alexa about that service, but also how many have asked for details about times, costs, or menus and from which rooms.

As of June 2025, the same data will also be collected by the Digital Guide.

Visualization and export

Collected data are grouped in interactive graphs and tables, making understanding and analysis fast and intuitive. Date ranges can be chosen at will and compared with the same period in the previous year.

As of June 2025, it will also be possible to export all data with a single click, resulting in already paginated pdfs and well-organized, easy-to-follow Excel files.

Privacy

The actual dialogues that occur between the guest and Alexa are not recorded, and there is no way to trace the specific words spoken by guests in the room. Respect for privacy always comes first.

The system stores only the specific information that was asked, and traces it back to the room (or house, or apartment). You will then be able, for example, to know how many times the breakfast time was asked, but not the specific question spoken to ask it, in what tone of voice, or any other personal information about the guest.

Return on investment

Some types of services may have a price that is communicated to guests, or an internal cost (visible only to staff in the Control Panel).

For example, one can indicate how much the activities cost for daily cleaning.
When guests request that cleaning not be done, the Control Panel also calculates the cost saved by the property.
The same applies to booked or requested services (such as room service or paid spa access).

By analyzing this data and the total number of requests made, the revenue generated can be calculated. This also includes indirect benefits, such as time saved at the front desk thanks to Alexa or Digital Guide answering questions asked by guests at any time!

You can then consider what informational content to change to provide better service, or to stop automatic subscription renewal if the investment does not generate the results you hoped for.
